If someone can give me a good explanation as to why it's so inexcusably offensive I'll gladly listen, but as things stand now I don't get it.
Especially when people complain that a topic has been overdone, and a newer person wants to talk about it.. they're not allowed to bring it up? Either they start a new thread on the subject and some people complain that it's been overdone, or people complain that it's a necro post. It's hard to come up with completely original stuff, but what Becca said, if people aren't there to respond or it's old world news then, it can be annoying.
