Yup. The more I think about it, the more mysterious it seems. It's probably going to be something for future generations of scientists to figure out because our generation is missing something very basic. I have no idea what it is we're missing but it's definitely something. Unlike you (based on past threads) I believe there is plenty enough evidence for a physical origin of consciousness but as to how it works - we might as well talk about magic, non-corporeal life and The Force. We just don't have a freaking clue.
