"Heart" as it refers to intelligence/soul/equivalent I consider something of an abstract.  As with any abstract, a definite answer isn't always sure to exist.  Center of intellect is now well known, "Heart" or "Soul" is still unproven.  When I hear "Heart" I think unconscious. 

Is this another attempt on religion's part to control and catalog everything within its own definitions?
