Ah!!! racism... even mentioning the word brings so much fire. I'm a white male so automaticly anyone not white thinks that I am racist and any one white automaticly believes that i feel as they do about blacks or hispanics or what ever.
Gene wise we are all Africans only recently migrated. Nature proves it by there being some very beautiful mixed race people. I almost married a black lady.
So now that that's out of the way as far as if I am racist or not here's my questions
I know the history and it isn't pretty. Just to be clear though the white man did a lot of damage to the natives of the Americas too. I sometimes wonder why they don't kill more white people in retribution.
I remember seeing a video about the statistical difference between the chances a white person has to succede and the chances a black person has to succede in this country. Again it ain't pretty.
It makes me wonder why? If I apply for a job in the form of a paper or e-mail and my name is Logan why would I be picked over someone who's name is say Tyrone?
sorry putting the cart before the horse. The video said that those with black sounding names are far less likely to be picked for a job that those with normal names. Sight unseen now.
Of course the cop issue says that blacks are more likely to get pulled over or ticketed than whites..I dont get it since I know that a cop with a record of such behavior would likely be fired.
Schools are less likely to accept black students in to higher level education yet there is the negro college fund. I know plenty of black doctors.
So It makes me wonder. 40 some years after Martin Luther and we are still dealing with this issue? I know there are some that will always be racist but the ones I know of are in no position to make such life changing descions like job offers and education. they are in no way well educated.
Saw one video by a black man that says the reason why there is this issue at least in part.... how do i put this? He describes how a black person or hispanic person is proud of how their tough nieghborhood is. He wonders why this is. He says he is glad he lives in a white nieghborhood.
I know I'm going to incur someones wrath but at the very least after your done bashing my white supremecist ass please educate me on the facts and what actually happens and maybe why. I really do just want to know.
