Maybe I'm a masochist, but I don't put people on ignore, generally. I would rather read what is being said and reply to it ... many times even rude folks have good points. So long as they're polite  to me, nothing untoward occurs.

IRL, there is a button that does this, for me, in most cases. I go for a walk or a drive and get the hell away from the person bugging me.

The only time I put people on ignore is if they are sending me rude pm’s, then the ignore feature blocks them from sending anything private to me.

I haven’t had to do that in quite some time.  Shy
