Did I offend anyone? I didn't mean to.. Everybody just decided all at once to go away. I can't imagine that there's such a thing as a taboo subject at AF. Here we've started a decent conversation sand acrimony. He's not jumping on me and I'm not jumping on him. So where is everybody?

There shouldn't be any taboo subjects at AF, but this thread was steeped in dishonesty and/or ignorance from the beginning. Not all, but some of the users responding to this thread didn't bother reading the the original post OR read the original post and somehow how failed to see the blatantly obvious hole in Shinagami's statement (odd, considering how logical most of the users here claim to be) OR saw the flaw in the original post and chose to ignore that fact. Some of these particular posters were likely well-meaning and trying to diffuse a potentially volatile thread. A few just wanted to run with a bullshit "Why are Black people always rioting?" theme (aka- why are black people so stupid and violent).

It was ridiculous to me, how quickly this thread shifted into how poor Shinagami was being attacked because no one understood sarcasm. That was never the issue to me.  I will say, however that I don't believe the title of this post was ever meant be part of the sarcasm. Starting the thread title with the words "Black Fuck... give me a goddamn break. People choose whatever titles they want for their posts, but no one's going to tell me that a title like that doesn't come from someone with an issue, looking to start shit.

Anyway, I admire how you've handled responding to this thread. I'm certainly not always capable of such patience in these situations. It's weird, how we're both black but are so different, huh?
