I'm disgusted at how difficult it is to remove her from her position for simply refusing to do her job. Elected or not, surely there is some system in place? Does she literally have to be put in prison on some count to get her removed? Fuck this shit. She should be required to do her job, quit herself, or go to prison. This is bollocks.

Other have already said it, but let me repeat: expecting people to uphold the law and follow anti-discrimination procedures is not bigotry.

Bigotry is treating someone worse just because they are different from you. If you want to include in the definition of "treating people worse" firing people and even locking them up for breaking the law, for the protection of society as a whole, then what you are actually calling for is anarchy. You are calling taking legal action bigotry against criminals, because that is the aspect that is being judged. The fact she is Christian is irrelevant.

If you want people to be able to do whatever they fuck they want while shouting "Religious beliefs" with no repercussions, you're not going to fit into any civilised society. Remember, religious beliefs are arbitrary. That means absolutely anything is permitted. Certain Christians need to get this through their privileged skulls.
