Clerk Defies Supreme Court, Refuses Gay Marriage Licenses

Given that she's a government official, her disrespect for the Court's decisions and orders will be especially frowned-upon, but I also know that some contempt jailings are relieved  when the jailed agrees to abide the court's orders.

I fully expect it to be the latter.

Question is - how long before she tires of the greybar suites and gives in or resigns? (The latter, I think, is more likely)

No doubt she'll resign, and take up Crusading as a career.
