Well, it should be rather obvious that when it comes to brute strength and aggression, the gender most evolutionary specialized in those areas will probably be better at it on average. It is little wonder to me why the majority of women are not lining up to join our military, between a somewhat natural lack of interest in war and the various scandals involving women in the military up til now. It generally isn't considered a very attractive prospect to women, and I can't say I blame them, as they are somewhat less inclined on average to kill or be violent.
Now, that isn't to say that ALL WOMEN will feel this way. There are always outliers in any statistical group, but the average is fairly static, in this instance. Now, as far as standards and requirements, I am of two minds on the issue. While it is true that lowering the standards and requirements that the military has learned over a century or more to be the average necessary to be an effective fighting force, WILL inevitably damage our effectiveness, it may be necessary to get women into the military. The bare facts are that men DO perform well above women in physical combat activities, and the majority of women will probably find it damn near difficult to meet the same standards men are expected to, simply because of biology. Is it fair? No. Neither is life, biology, genetics, or the fucking universe itself.
I hear the terms "fair", "equal", and other such non-sequiturs appear almost incessantly these days. Usually being used by people who seem to have little to no understanding for what those terms ACTUALLY mean. Different standards do NOT make it fair, nor equal, and people arguing such nonsense are usually millennials who have no concept of what real discrimination actually looks like. Most of them have never even had to show any deference to anyone elses gender or race before in their lives, and that is a GOOD thing. However, lower standards aren't about making things fair, they are about lowering a certain quality and ability in our military, but the enemy will NOT take your personal handicaps into consideration and fight less effectively when they are trying to kill you.
This means that the only thing "special" standards will have gotten you, is dead. Let us hope such standards don't wind up getting your fellow soldiers killed as well.

I would more generally advocate that one only leave one entrance into their mind(reason), and keep the rest of it rather closed, as it is one hell of a lot easier to shovel shit in than it is to get it out.
If the evidence and reason for you to believe something isn't really any better than the reason you should believe some rural farmer from Arkansas got anally probed by interstellar visitors, then you probably shouldn't.
