So don't. Please, don't. I don't know about the news situation in Portugal, since I don't speak the language, but your diversion is nothing short of disgusting. Most of us are aware and appalled. It's only that nobody saw fit to create a thread about it here. To invite the bigots having a field day.
Maybe the point of a thread in the " News & Current Affairs" forum is not for bigots to have field days...
Maybe it's to inform people...
And those boats full of people were in every news station - I don't remember any news reporter, or commentator, or interviewee saying anything remotely bigoted about those people who die at sea trying to get to Europe.
And yet, now, I've seen a reporter purposefully tripping an man carrying a ~6yo kid... I hear hate speech against these people...
And, when I try to put up a news piece about what's happening in Saudi Arabia, at a time I noticed few sites had that piece, you're thinking it was for the bigots?!
My "diversion" is an observation, accompanied by an opinion.
