I've never actually voted Labour, but I have generally found many of their policies to be better than the Tories. What you say about this guy is very worrying, and no I wouldn't want to back someone like that.
Voting often seems to come down to the least shit party... argh. I vote Green, but even some of their policies are a bit worrying. I hope that the nuttier stuff gets sorted out by the time they get into closer contention; that's not going to happen unless they get some support. They still represent me better than the other parties.
I'm very sorry to hear that voting reform is gone. Everyone seemed set on sorting it at the time. The next election will be just as ridiculous then.
