And kind of related - I hate how people appear to have this mentality that they want to avoid talking, smiling, or even making eye contact with other people in public. Have we sunk so low that we are this anti-social now? I despair. I don't know if this is just a British thing (it is very British, I must say) or if it's like this in other countries too.
