Whereas I am 99.999% convinced that there are no gods. If something so incredibly extraordinary were suddenly proven to be true, I'd 'shit bricks' in surprise. I'd be flabbergasted. I'd be less surprised if aliens landed and said "Take me to your leader." If 'shit bricks' is meant to represent fear in this context... then no... I wouldn't 'shit bricks'. I'd be too busy demanding an explanation.
