Couldn't get a good look at the titles on your shelf...any suggestions?  I'll add them to the 'acquisition list'  

They're mostly non fiction. Historical volumes in their majority, including really boring stuff like Grotefend's "Handbuch der Zeit", which is really just something for history nerds to determine exact historical dates and read historical documents accurately. The ones you see in picture #1 is the complete transcription of the Nuremberg tribunals.

So, you see, without knowing your interests, it's hard to make recommendations. But, as far as fiction goes, I'm rather fond of Mike Carey and his Felix Castor series.
