I certainly don't keep my mouth shut, that's something only a totalitarian regime would force me to do - But I do like keeping distance from certain labels if it doesn't fit me. I think someone like Alain de Botton is an example of an atheist who doesn't fit the definition of new atheist, or maybe atheists from previous generations (i.e. Freud)
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you
