It is. That's why I usually discourage morons from giving interviews, just in case they feel the need to expose their idiocy for general consumption.
Bieber: You don’t need to go to church to be a Christian. If you go to Taco Bell, that doesn’t make you a taco.
There's some air-tight logic, to which I would add that having some hits with prepubescent girls doesn't make you an artist or a musician. However, it might make you a disposable commodity like a fast food taco.
What a douche. It might be time to bring back crucifixion.
I'm not sure which of those two statements is dumber. Truly.
But I enjoy the second one more, just so I can imagine Christians as taco, all sitting in a row.
That he thinks that either analogy works is hilarious.
I like their response, in the article:
Quote:In a sense, Justin is disestablishing himself – and perhaps his Beliebers, too. “Like I said,” reasons Justin. “You don’t need to go to church to be a Christian. If you go to Taco Bell, that doesn’t make you a taco.”
ARE YOU LISTENING, DAWKINS? Answer that and stay fashionable.
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.
