Concluding the deaths of millions in the death of one man, is the deceit. No, Jesus's death doesn't equal the deaths of thousands on the Roman sticks, neither by math, nor by pain.
If he was a God, he should've known already how the pain feels..he created that pain after all. He was the one who gave us nerves..
AtlasS, you accept the Old and New Testaments as inspired scripture. You have been taught they have been "altered beyond repair" - but this isn't true. The Old Testament hasn't changed in at least 2200 years, and the New Testament has barely changed in the past 2,000 years, and the textual changes have been discovered and documented (the long endings of Mark for instance).
