Whoops, I just realized I forgot to address Statler's "John Kidd wasn't an Old Earth creationist" bit.
He was a collaborator in the Bridgewater Treatises (Volume II: On The Adaptation of External Nature to the Physical Condition of Man), and a proponent of natural theology.
