Here's the thing.

Maybe that ^^^ is what you're talking about. I only read it as saying that the only difference between cutting your wrist and freezing your legs off is that one is more severe. But perhaps he meant it to mean what you said.
I focused on this:

If the psychiatrist hadn't of poured the drain cleaner in her eyes, she may have her sight today, seems to me she may not have had the nerve to do it herself, so I believe that it wasn't unethical it was criminal. If someone dashed drain cleaner into a stranger's eyes they would be prosecuted without question. I see no difference in the two, she's mentally disabled and not able to say no because of her disability, the stranger wouldn't give permission to have his eyes blinded."
And in this, I completely agree with him.
