Who is the assholiest Theist you've met in REAL LIFE?

I’m sure there’s a few people on here that know of my father already. He’s one of the main reasons I first came on here. I desperately needed to vent about religion, and have an escape. There was some sort of vicarious release that I had when I heard people freely talking about religion, because of the suffocating situation that I was in. He’s easily the biggest asshole of a theist that I’ve ever met.

I was heavily indoctrinated by one of the biggest assholes you could possibly imagine. It was his way or the highway. He never could do wrong, praying was more important than spending quality time with his family. The time he did spend was always ranting and raving about religion or politics. He always tried to start fights with everyone or pick on them for any little thing he could find, everyday. When I was growing up, every time I wanted to go out and play or do something, he always made sure I prayed a certain amount of time first, or prayed the rosary or whatever. I almost couldn’t even wake up and eat breakfast in the morning without him asking (demanding) me if I prayed. He’s one of the most negative, narcissistic, controlling people you’d ever meet. No matter what you do, it’s wrong. You’d try your whole life to please the man, but nothing would make him happy. No matter who you’d see or what you’re plans are, they’re always wrong. He’s the type that thinks the world is ending right around the corner, and that only catholics will be saved. He judges gay people like crazy, and thinks they’re making a choice to rebel against god. He thinks every muslim is evil, he loves FOX and thinks everything they say is truth (shocker). He thinks every democrat is a liar, and every republican is perfect. I could go on forever. Almost any negative trait you could possibly think of, would be attached to his character.

He is pretty much out of his fucking mind, but at the same time when he meets people outside of his house or outside of his family, he can be a nice person with a sense of humor. Just another reason, that he pisses me off so much. That he’s capable of being a good person, but chooses to be an absolute prick 99% of the time.

I’m glad I got away recently. I don’t need that shit in my life anymore.

Honorable mention goes to the guy handing out Bible tracts in the parking lot.  I removed the tract under my wiper blade, handed it back to him, and told him to use it on another car - "I'm an atheist".   As I was pulling out of the parking lot, he came running at my car and broke the windshield with a baseball bat, screaming something about how I was going to burn in hell.   

Oh yeah, those are just the first few to pop into my head.

I didn't have his name or his license number.  I just put my foot on the gas - I figured that the next swing of the bat might connect with my head.  I'm not going to volunteer to be an atheist martyr just to get one loony street preacher put in jail.
