In my experience personally it's mainly homophobia and racism and telling refugees in need to "go back to where they came from", but I am sure the more extreme ones are sexist too.
In my experience they can be quite polite and nice in general and just be completely unaware of how bigoted they sound when they speak of gay people or immigrants. They think they're "normal" for being bigoted like this. Just because they may - depressingly - be in the majority, does not make it "normal".
EvF, sadly you are right. I find far too many Christians who are also judgmental about homosexual lifestyles and discriminate against races or even other religions. It's so ironic. Preaching tolerance, while being intolerant. Demanding equal rights for your group, while denying them from other groups. At the end of the day they look at the world from their own personal perspective instead of looking at it objectively. I had a friend years ago who was very homophobic and anti-gay rights and all the while we found out he was cheating on his wife.
I personally call out the hypocrites. It was one of the main reasons I stopped going to church for the longest time was because of the fake, two-sided people. Preach one thing, do another. Also, going in to church pretending that everything is great and refusing to open up about issues. We ALL have issues. But people that care about you genuinely want to help. Don't pretend it's all ok. Don't be afraid to reach out. Don't be fake. That's why I always loved Gandhi's quote, "I like your Christ, I don't like your Christians." A large part of Christians are afraid to just be people.
I personally accept all and will fight for what's fair and equal for ALL no matter what orientation, race, class, etc. I have gay friends, i have hindu and Muslim friends, I have atheist friends. I view everyone as a person first, not how they identify and label themselves. The only label we cannot get rid of is our person-hood and that above all other things is the most valuable. People should all be treated the same. I cannot stand condescension. It's simple people. Even Barack Obama gets diarrhea. No one is better than anyone else. Period.

And you know what? I was the BIGGEST hypocrite of all time. I was in homosex myself, I was even a pedophile with a young boy I fell in love with. I was nasty, I was disrespectful, disobedient, hateful, racist and all sorts of stuff. If there's anybody who deserves hell, its me.
But two years ago something happened in my life, and I turned 180 degrees from the evil man that I was and found out what it really meant to be saved and I got saved. It's only cause by the grace of God, The very Lord Jesus Christ, a crapwad like me can ever be of any good. And ever since, I KNOW 100% unchangeable, down deep in the bottom of my heart that Jesus is real and that he loved me enough to save me from the wicked man I've been.
