Hurts coming from the guy who looks like John Cena's younger, retarded brother.
I'm older than John Cena, and have a 99th percetile IQ. So... yeah.
I don't know where you get off trying to tell me how I'm allowed to consider the question of whether or not switching (back?) to Christianity means "switching sides", as I'm sure everyone who's not some kind of pedantic little fuckwit would consider it, but it's really just an expression.
She gave up atheism, took up another philosophy (theism, and a virulent branch of it, to boot) which is literally diametrically opposed to my position (atheism).
I really enjoyed talking with Diedre on TTA, and I will miss her participation in future discussions of the topics, and I hate what seems to have driven her to such an emotional extreme. I hate what she's going through, and I hope that she does not damage herself with this coping mechanism she seems to have chosen.
Telling someone they're 13 because they see the loss of a community member, who clearly went to join another community as a result of her decision to reverse her outlook, as "switching sides" is a seriously fucked up thing to say.
I don't know what the fuck is wrong with you, but off is over there. You know what to do.
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.
