If it's easy to convert me with evidence, why have hundreds of Christians, and others, from across the globe failed to do so?
Is it because their evidence is lacking?
Beccs I hate to put this like this to you but yes. The theist "religion" is actually DIFFERENT than atheism. If you ever actuallly meet a sincere theist one day, you will undoubtedly be convinced.
It is also not the evidence you provide. It's the way you approach the topic you're presenting. You can be a balls to the wall atheist, hard pressed, finger pressing or whatever, but if you are not sincere, you will never see the actual battle theists see as it really does unfold. It's all about the evidence anyhow beccs, trying to intepret God is actually the first thing christians jump to (as compared to you atheists). Therefore, convincing you God is real is as easy as convincing a child.
I fail simply to see how so many have failed to convince you.
There are lots of theistic religions but no theist religion. Theism and atheism are differing opinions on the same topic (whether or not any gods really exist). The world is full of sincere theists, you can hardly roll a bowling ball down the sidewalk without hitting one. Most of them are unconvincing, but usually not as unconvincing as you.
I'll try to unscramble that second paragraph. You seem to be saying that theists skip determining if God exists and go straight to interpreting what God existing means, and that atheists don't skip the part where we figure out whether God exists in the first place. That actually sounds about right. And convincing people when they are children would be the best way to get someone to assume God's existence instead of determining it.
It doesn't matter how many people try to convince you of something if you can see through their arguments and none of them are any good. One good argument will do the trick. a million bad ones won't.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
