Respectfully, I have no idea what you just said.
Close my mind due to frustration? What frustration? Why would frustration close my mind? And who said my mind is closed?
Has it occurred to you the amount of knowledge I had to gain to understand why my mind did what it did, in the first place, when I deluded myself into religious thinking?
What's frustrating is to be told that I'm only an atheist because I refuse to believe, or that my only basis for rejecting this claim, Claim #4,285 that I have heard in my lifetime, is because I am closed-minded?
Can you imagine how frustrating it must be, to have learned why people believe the millions of silly things they do (and you think most of the mystical beliefs of others are silly, too, if you really stopped to think about it, and were honest with yourself about it), yet be told every time I won't accept the beliefs of someone telling me their "personal story" that the reason I won't agree with them is because my "mind is closed"?
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.
