I'm told I look about 25. I'm actually 31 next month.
Wonder if that's old enough?
I also have the "baby-faced" problem. However, I think Chad was thinking I meant "retirement" in the traditional sense of, "I reached the age where I can start drawing Social Security and ceasing to work".
Of course, I mean it as a more polite way to say that I used to work as a scientist before being forcibly retired from the field by my false conviction and imprisonment, and have not elected to try to take up my old career, now that I have been exonerated, since it would essentially require that I go back to being a starving graduate student; I have preferred to self-employ by taking up my old weekend hobby as a full-time career. I'm making more money now, by working half as hard, anyway.
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.
