Prayer is defined as a rational act. It's because you by definition ask for praise. Therefore, prayer is the act of asking for praise (by definition).

That aside, prayer is a rational activity. It's only possible for human beings to pray to begin with. Because it is a rational manner of conduct. This being the case, it is only natural that scientific studies on prayer have failed. And it is simple enough to say that atheistforums.org would never understand that up til now. But I have just proven that prayer works (scientifically) because by definition prayer is the rational act of asking for praise.
