I disagree. I started about 1998 on the now defunct Cygnus' Study. There was plenty of shit back then too, but there were lots of threads where we'd be going to the Hebrew and Greek, or using formal logic, or other substantive means to debate. It was cool while it lasted. I learned a lot.

It's a generalization and doesn't apply to everyone, but it applies to a lot of people here.
