The tragically funny thing is, that if it wasn't for the "anti-feminist" crowd, I wouldn't even know who Anita Sarkesian was or what she thought about anything. I'm still not exactly sure, to be honest - nor do I care. Since at least every other Thunderf00t video nowadays is a rant about Sarkesian and "The Invasion Of Femi-nazis From Space" - he can go suck a bag of d*cks, as far as I'm concerned. The guy's obsessed and therefore - a joke.
It's just my personal experience, but no feminist has ever done anything to inconvenience me, unless you count - as many seem to do - the numerous times a woman wouldn't let me f*** her. The issues usually brought up, like attempting to somehow ban the word "bossy" are laughable and not worth any sane person's time.
Every anti-feminist I've ever met was a frustrated, insecure misogynist, obsessed with the possibility of being dominated by a woman. Which is understandable, since this fear is something countless generations of fathers have forcibly instilled in boys, in order to enforce stereotypical gender roles. What boy has never been shamed by his male family members, by being compared to a woman, or a girl? Who's parents were happy for their male child to play with traditionally feminine toys? Who's father never made off-hand remarks, often presented as jokes, about the superiority of men over women, husband over wife, etc.? That's how I - and almost everyone I know - was raised and it still has a major effect on my thinking, which takes effort to offset. Just as is the case with homophobia and racism, which were also casually taught to children when I was growing up - and still are in the majority of the world.
To sum up, if I were a misogynist - and it would be really easy for me to be one - I sure as hell would call myself an anti-feminist, because hating, or fearing women sounds "faggy"...
