Use Firefox or chrome.
Install ad block pro plugin.
Right click the big image on top and you should have an option to block it in adblock. Do block the image only.
That should help you with the stealth part.

Now, the url.
I remember once accidentally activating something that would hide the url bar... Maybe in about:config... Google that.
