Well, we're talking about people who have no problem with the fact that according to the Bible, god created the grass and the trees before he created the sun and the moon. You see, the greater one's capacity to believe things the absurd, the stronger one's faith is. And without faith it is impossible to please god. The Christian is required to believe the absurd. Phil, if what I'm saying is not true, then why do you continue to support what you know is insupportable?
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.
