I'm going to be investigating something for a week or two solid then write an article about it. I'm going to do this in the vain hope that when I proof read it my eyes will stop bleeding long enough to send it to a number of editors in an attempt to get it published. I'm extremely dedicated to this end. I'll look up sources, conduct interviews, write in pen instead of crayon. No expense will be spared. The rub is I don't know what to investigate for my first article. Whether it should be serious or quirky, reuters standard or cracked.
Being such well read people who obviously have their fingers firmly on the pulse of "whats hot" I'm confident you will point me in the direction of subject material that will help me write an article that people simply can't look away from.
Much like a train wreck or an ecological disaster that claims an incalculable number of lives. I'm very excited.
You want to do an in depth research on something it would be good to not just second hand information on stuff so you could choose something local to you or something internet based.
For example you could research the tribes of the amazon or ISIS in the middle east, people who stalk celebrities in Hollywood. But all you would be doing is copying someone else's work unless you planned to travel to these places yourself.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
