Why so many "anti-feminists" in the atheist community?

I'm a nice guy. Get to know me. 

I'm not exactly feeling like pouring my heart and soul into a big explanation, after being barraged with so much hate. Not only do I not really feel like I have the incentive to do that, I also lack an enormous amount of ethos. Call me cynical, but I really, really don't think that any of you will even give a rat's ass about trying to care. It's only a few of you though. Imagine all the people in this forum, in a room, each walking up to you when you say something; the mean spirited ones will spit and hiss, the others will mill around and go engage in other activities. Meanwhile I'm stuck with the pack that crowds around me, spitting and hissing. That's how it feels honestly, but then again why would you have any reason to humanize me at all? I'm probably making this fun for you, I wouldn't be surprised if all of you, the pack, enjoy doing this to me. 

Whatever though. I think I'm a pretty nice person. Just try to start over and try to be nice to me. I will be overcome with empathy, I'll probably give you likes, feel inclined to try to be nice to you. If all else fails? I got to sit around writing, which is at least something I enjoy.

I tried courtesy with you. It didn't seem to work.
