Want to know a secret? I get paid more than most of my male colleagues on the same level as me. Why? Because I'm prepared to put in the extra work. I'm the one who covers extra shifts when a staff member is sick. I'm the one who is prepared to get my hands dirty by working outside my specialised field.
And it's a couple of my male colleagues who whine that it's not fair.
