Jesus didn't teach us to be violent towards people, but actually to love them and sacrifice even when you're being persecuted.  The verses you quoted prove that point, I am kind of confused why you brought them up:

Matthew 5:39
But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also.

Matthew 26:52
Put your sword back in its place," Jesus said to him, "for all who draw the sword will die by the sword.

If you don't love Jesus he says that he will toss your butt into the fire.  When he returns he will torture everyone, kill all life, and destroy the planet.
