Actually Paul Islam does change on a personal level much like science does, in that we are seeking to know the divine will, but we may or may not know it. There are always greater levels of tuning to the divine will, and he reveals of his knowledge what he wills.
We never truly have full knowledge of Islam. Our knowledge of it changes. And it should change.
This is why we need a spiritual guide. Because through the journey, the laws of etiquette change. There are certain expectations in different spiritual states.
The true religion is not known by words although Quran revives and calls to the face/name of God, and to sail the ships that are by the name of God in it's sailing and anchoring....these parables, the reality they point, God and his name, God and his face, these have to be recalled and witnessed.
The true religion transcends the official religions on earth, including Islam. People following Islam maybe closer to that religion then people of other faiths or may not be.
The true religion is the nature we may been originally upon, spiritually, before coming to the material world.
The Guide on earth is the closest to understanding what we are, who we are, and what are nature is, but our destination, our secret is veiled at the end and only known to God.
In short what I'm trying to say what it means to be human changes over time, and so then does the knowledge of the religion that in it's own words, is that very human nature...does change.
