If they like men, that is still a female with a male and thusforth can be considered a heterosexual or homosexual relationship based upon what they want. Humanity is more colors of the rainbow than black and white and we should be free to be up we want to be, no matter an M or F on a piece of paper. We (LGBT) have been around since the dawn of man I'm sure. 15k species of animals have been observed practicing homosexuality and the more social the animal, the more pertinent it is in the well being of their society. Some species could not survive, without it. It's just so difficult and different for others to wrap their minds around so they didn't give much of a fuck about anyone else and decided to ban that which they don't understand. Personally I'm a pansexual. I am attracted to all genders in all bodies. Mostly my husbands'! My sexuality doesn't really matter socially because I am a biological female and he's biological male/bisexual. So from the "outside" we are accepted. Still I have family (my mom whose realized late in life that she's a lesbian) and my catholic cousin--who have struggled with their identities their entire lives! It's a goddamn nightmare (I should know), growing up Christian and being LGBT. I ended up with NO respect for myself, constantly felt like I needed to be punished, constantly in a state of begging for my well being/good standing and salvation in gods eyes, and as a result I had zero idea about physical boundaries, and I was an easy target for sexual, emotional, and physical abuse. I just try to spread the word nowadays.. About what Ive learned about the world around me and myself. God made us how we are so we owe him a debt and are punished in life and after for it? I don't fucking think so. When i realized I was who I was and I couldn't change it--a freedom of mind happened and I will NeVer look back to the prison that was my mind on religion.
Ps John Oliver is a genius and if you haven't seen ALL his videos, you're missing out on an important part of life itself! ^_^
Well done Luckie.
Now that you are free from religious dogmas why not continue your struggle to total freedom and peace of mind?
The journey to total freedom is long and arduous.
Freedom from religious dogmas are just a step forward.
More obstacles will have to be overcome.
