The historian and physician Luke tells us of numerous people observing Christ before and after his ressurection.
Quote: Bullshit. Creation proves nothing more than things were created. It is certainly not proof that some invisible man in the sky did the creating.
It's a good thing I didn't say it was proof of some invisible man in the sky then! It's proof of the Creator God.
Quote: Crappola. Did people living in the Americas prior to Columbus have "knowledge of god"?
Of course they did, they were just as much human as anyone else, despite what Darwin thought.
Quote: And what exactly does that mean anyway? I know there are people who believe in the existence of this god. I have no knowledge that he (or she, or it) is real.
Yes you do, you just surppress it in your heart.
"For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. 21For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools, 23and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things."
Romans 1:20-23
Of course it is not hypocrisy, empiricism is a self refuting worldview, hence why I am not a complete empiricist. Some truth claims can be found without direct observation. Those not told about God are still aware of Him because his creation makes him apparent, so man is without excuse. As to the heart thing, it's a figure of speech there buddy, hence why every love song ever written talks about the heart.
