According to yoga everything and everyone is in the mental imagination of God so you don't connect.
All you do is to realize that you are God and that is not a connection at all.

Ok, so yoga helps you realize your god-hood, become more god-like, whatever.
The point is, Rik, you use the practice of yoga (a regularly repeated ritual) because you believe it has something to do with you and God (or you being God, or whatever).
Rituals + God = Religion.
Your religion is a religion, Rik. Stop pretending your religion isn't a religion.
