Let us talk about the universe.
Atheists in general think that the universe can do without a mind or God but wait a minute guys.
The universe has got what we also humans got.
It has matter, water, heat-light-energy, air and space.
We, beside our body also got a mind and a consciousness so why this universal body should also not have
a mind and consciousness that control it?
Have you ever seen a body alive without a head?![]()
Even a zombie got a head (whether it works is a different story) but a head-mind-consciousness is there anyway wherever there is a body.
So, just guess what this controlling mind suppose to be?
You never thought about it, did you guys?
You really are getting desperate, aren't you?
Your latest is one of the most obviously flawed analogies I think I've ever read. Just because 2 things being compared have some similarities, does not mean you can come to any sort of conclusion about what other things they may have in common.
A pond full of dirty water has matter, water, heat-light-energy, air and space, just like the universe has. A pond full of dirty water does not have a head (or consciousness). Therefore, the universe doesn't either. See, I just proved that there is no mind controlling the universe.
Here is a term you may want to look into, and use from time to time, "critical thinking".
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
