Her supporters were always well aware of her critics.
But I really think that is far more picky about interpretation than the conclusions she was pointing to. Basically all religions are man made.
Even outside her, humans have a tendency to look at your fingertip while you point at the moon.
I just feel lucky to have had brief tweets with her. I never told her that I had been thinking all religions were made up long before I was an online atheist. Ironically it was Buddhism mixed with Hinduism, in an exhibit in the Smithsonian in DC that made me say "damn, if this can mix, then maybe all religions are made up".
She just pointed out to me the details of what I had already suspected.
