I think meaning in life is a motivation to live . If there is no motivation people get depressed, don't they?
I think depression is rather down to negative influences if things are neutral you can just carry on existing and be ok.
I totally get that.
But I've often wondered - why live?
To survive?
Why survive?
To enjoy the pleasures of life?
Are they really worth the hardships though?
After all, when you die, you just doesn't exist anymore, so why even bother?
All these years of hardships after hardships only to just die one day.
The reward is significantly lower than the effort you put in though, won't you say?
