I did 60+/40/?. Retired at 54. Not sure if it will be enough money.

And one never does know until either it isn't or they die.
I think this explains the tendency to accumulate even after monte carlo analysis says it isn't necessary any more.
Sadly, that confidence is only probabilistic and dependent on future patterns in finance being similar to the past.
My strategy is to need little and try to maintain my independence through acquisition of skills, knowledge and equities.
I try not to worry about it too much.  A little worry is motivating, a lot is paralyzing.
