A psychopath like me won't really post like that, no, but a sociopath is quite different in that they are well aware of their lack of empathy and are also aware of it's caveats, and so have a much higher tendency to admit to it and even seek help.

No the psychopath is aware but to them it is the normal thing. They are generally not concerned about their lack of empathy, but a sociopath is.
