(the reference brackets are a dead giveaway for copy paste spam)
Do you think i am supposed to know all of that by heart? of course i copied and pasted it from wikipedia
that doesnt take anything away from its truth
the point wasnt that "look i know names" the point was that Islam INSPIRED science and took science to anew level which before Islam science was not formal and bit where here and there
Islam formalized science and created the scientific method, made it a subject created interest and most importantly was turned into practical tools that were used ot better life
for example Pythagoras used mathematics for a religion, it was a belief system, not a method to create and develop things
but the Muslim Arabs used science to better life, to create tools and understand the universe
seeking knowledge, Islam had a God and religion and that dealt with morals and the afterlife, but science was the living world and how to develop it and make life easier better etc
Islam formalized science into knowledge that was practical for making life easier
