Even if there were a god, and even if that god were so incredibly beautiful and awesome that I'd worship of my own free will, I still wouldn't have a single fucking thing to do with religion, which is an organization seeking to control the thoughts of fellow humans by manipulating the sex drive and penchant for guilt most humans have.

That's a good point. If you actually had real communication with "God", why would you need an organised religion to tell you what to do? You'd just have a real relationship with God, and that would be it, whether it be one of friendship or worship.

I guess it's one of those, "You're not having fun if no one is watching" things.
