Yeah, I never cared one way or the other about what was 'cool.' I got picked on sometimes in high school for wearing my X-files t shirts and my alien head necklaces, but it didn't bother me. I wore them with pride, because I loved the show and I simply refused to let anyone make me feel ashamed of it! Now, almost 13 years later I still love it, and in hind sight I'm glad that I incorporated it into my identity at that time in my life despite what others might have thought.
