I think that it takes a particularly whimsical person to simultaneously decry american propaganda while quoting Dick Cheney as an authority in support of their argument.
The oil running dry (or the US moving past) would be the worst imaginable scenario...but not for the US. For your arab nations. It would represent the second time in recorded history that they let the entire world run through their fingers like sand. Life in the US will go on pursuing it's comfortable standards, oblivious to the plight of a people who no longer have a product to sell. The desolation of the middle east would persist for the -next- thousand years, or until another opportunity like oil were discovered. Here's to hoping they don't squander it the next time, like last time....and the time before that.........
