My guessing is that the whole capitalistic system is on the way out.
The stock market go down and down every day.
I am sure that when it will reach the very bottom (i hope very soon) then we will see a lot of people jumping down tall buildings as they will realize that the materialistic system that they believe let them down.
After this people will think how to get out the sewer and this will be the beginning of a new era away from materialism so spirituality will prosper.
But again this is only my guessing.
