The real problem with homeschooling standards is that you get people who defend even the worst of the worst just because they're pro-home school. And I do mean worst of the worst, like this Kentucky Couple who had TEN kids (I have half that many, but still... TEN!)

People think this is an okay way to live. "Freedom" is what they call it. I can't believe people defend it. Some people think all you need in life is skills to perform labor, and to be able to read and write. You need far more than that in life, and if that's all some people expect of their kids I'm left speechless.
