It's just as simple as this, dude: I'm an atheist because I don't have sufficient evidence of any god to believe in that god. If god were actually all knowing and all powerful, he would know exactly what would convince me of his legitimacy and he would easily be able to meet that criteria. The fact that he hasn't leads me to believe that either
1) god doesn't care if I'm an atheist,
2) god wants me to be an atheist or
3) god is imaginary
Total garbage on all 3 points jo.
Suppose that God exist and evolution is all about an opening of consciousness in order to grow you up.
As a mother or parent you grow your kid up to a point.
After that you got to let them decide what to do with their lives in the good or the bad.
God act in the same way.
As the consciousness reach the level of human being he will let you do whatever you like.
You can love people and at the same time you can torture them or kill them.
The karma law will take care of that but this is not the point.
The point is that the life is a discovering journey.
God will not tell you where the gold is.
You will have to find that out by yourself if of course you are interested in gold.
If you are not that's ok either.
God will not push you to believe in his gold nor he will shake your neck and say ....believe in me you idiot.
No jo, nothing like this.
When the time will come that you will feel sick and tired of this limited material world then you may well
wish to find something better and at this stage you will get the tip how to proceed ahead.
